Temporary Dock Builder / Marine Construction Laborer
Position Type: Temporary Full-Time
Position Overview: We are seeking hardworking, dependable individuals to join our marine construction team in either a temporary or full-time capacity. As a Dock Builder, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing docks, bulkheads, boathouses, and other waterfront structures. Candidates should have hands-on experience installing a variety of decking materials, including pressure-treated wood, Trex®, WearDeck®, and other composite decking products. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality craftsmanship, works well as part of a team, and is committed to completing projects safely and efficiently in outdoor marine environments.
What You'll Do
Assist with the construction, repair, and installation of docks, bulkheads, seawalls, boathouses, and other marine structures.
Help install pilings, tieback systems, timber framing, and concrete anchoring components.
Operate construction tools and equipment while following established safety procedures.
Load, transport, organize, and prepare materials for daily work.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Follow project plans and directions provided by supervisors and crew leaders.
Perform work on shorelines, barges, docks, and other waterfront environments.
Support the team in completing projects on schedule while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in construction, marine construction, dock building, carpentry, or heavy labor is beneficial but not required.
Valid driver's license preferred.
Familiarity with marine construction practices or heavy equipment is a plus.
Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent lifting, carrying, climbing, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Employees should be prepared to work outdoors in changing weather conditions and around water.
