Kitchen Envy is a boutique cabinetry and design studio serving clients throughout the greater Jacksonville area. We handle a wide range of projects, from semi-custom to full custom kitchens, and we are looking for an experienced cabinetry installer to join our team. This role is open to independent contractors, as well as independents who would be interested in coming on full time.
What we're looking for:
Minimum 5 years of field experience installing cabinetry (more is a plus)
Reliable transportation and the ability to be on jobsites by 8:00 AM across the greater Jacksonville area
A complete set of your own professional tools
Accountability for completing jobs in a timely manner
A commitment to maintaining a very neat, orderly jobsite
A keen eye for detail with no shortcuts taken
A clear and effective communicator
The ability to troubleshoot and develop solutions when problems arise
The ability to operate at a high level in client-occupied and high-end environments
Non-smokers preferred, given the caliber of our clientele and jobsites
We are not looking for the fastest installer, we’re looking for the installer who consistently delivers the highest quality work.
Nice-to-have skills:
Experience building cabinetry from scratch
Spray finishing experience (painting and finishing cabinetry)
