ASPHALT, SEALCOATING, AND STRIPING ESTIMATOR/ PROJECT MANAGER NEEDED for small family owned and operated business.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in FDOT, private, commercial, and municipal projects.
• Must have knowledge of ADA compliance, FDOT specifications, standards, and details.
• Excellent organizational, computer, and communication skills.
• Detail oriented and problem-solving skills.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the asphalt field.
• Microsoft office skills are required.
• Ability to provide accurate project evaluations.
Job Description:
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with owners, contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and make site visits to gain project knowledge.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs.
• Prepare construction estimates.
• Contract negotiations, revisions, and contract compliance.
• Meet with clients to discuss quality control, extra work authorizations, schedules, and invoicing.
• Manage actions that are necessary due to delays, bad weather, or emergencies on the jobsites.
• Verifying permits or any other regulatory compliance.
JOB DETAILS:
