This Craftsman radial arm saw works well. Arguably the best most versatile power tool of the 20th century, the radial arm saw is the most versatile saw ever made. This one is the electronic model, which makes miter cuts a breeze.
I have used this saw to re-mould everything, build cabinets and shelves and many other projects. I bought it used at an estate sale after I moved home to Jacksonville. I left mine in New Jersey because it was built into my basement shop, and I immediately regretted it when I got here. The only reason I'm selling this one is because I found the last model Craftsman they sold and bought it last weekend. After checking it out and ensuring it's in as good condition as this saw, I'm selling the older model. I'd keep both, but . . . nah!
The stand this saw is on is total crap; it needs a new stand because it isn't sturdy and sways.
Also BEWARE of the lack of the upgraded blade guard, which was the subject of a 2001 recall. DO NOT BUY THIS (OR ANY CRAFTSMAN RADIAL ARM SAW) OR USE ONE IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO USE IT SAFELY.
