There is a test that must be completed prior to obtaining a license.
Some have completed their test within 7 days (fasttrack option), some have failed 3 times and then passed, some took as much time as they wanted or needed to pass. Whether you pass or fail entirely depends on your study habits. After you pass your test, you also then have to pass a background check and get fingerprints.
