Overview: Perform diagnostic PET / CT and Nuclear Medicine procedures in accordance to hospital, ste and federal guidelines and policies. Have a working knowledge of all aspects of the above imaging modalities. Assist the pients, fellow staff and physicians as needed. Qualificions: Age of Pients Served: All Age Groups Required Educion: Associes Degree in Nuclear Medicine or Gradue of an approved nuclear medicine training program Preferred Educion: Necessary Skills: 1. Have the mhemical skills to properly calcule doses and apply routine nuclear medicine formulas as needed. 2. Work with fellow technologist and professional staff to maximize pient workload. Required Licensure/Certificions: Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certificion Board (NMTCB) and/or registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(N)) Licensed by the Ste of Florida as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist BLS from the American Heart Associion Required Experience: Less than one year - Gradue from an approved nuclear medicine program. Preferred Experience: One to two years experience preferred.
