This is a fully computerized telescope that makes astronomy easy and fun. But it's still astronomy so its not child easy.
$450 and it's still -
*******BEST DEAL EVER******
- The equivalent new scope is about $1,300 without auto-align and with none of the accessories which cost more than my current price for the whole system. Good grief.
Just power it on, select an object (like Saturn), and the telescope will automatically align itself using its built-in camera (note: only the telescope computer has access)
It then will slew to the object
and track it as the Earth rotates. No star charts needed.
🌌 What you can see With the 6” aperture:
Detailed views of the Moon
Saturn’s rings
Jupiter’s moons and Red Spot
Star clusters and nebulae
I’ve even split Polaris, which speaks to the optics. (I had good views of Jupiter and the moon - Friday 3/27/2026)
⚙️ Auto-Alignment
Uses onboard camera (early version of Celestron StarSense) Works best with a clear view of the sky and minimal obstruction. In light pollution or limited views, you can manually align using 3 bright stars
