G&L is the final guitar company founded by Leo Fender, and he famously claimed they were the best instruments he ever made. The company name combines the first initials of its co-founders, George Fullerton and Leo Fender.
This is a modified G&L with push/pull knobs giving both big fat humbuckers in all 5 switch positions and typical strat sounds when knobs are pulled for single coil in all 5 switch positions. Have a humbucker or two engaged and one or two single coil pickups engaged. The number of sound variations you can get from this one guitar is crazy. Nice looking abalone upgrades on the push pull knobs too. You can play huge rock sounds, strat blues, or even take it down a notch to that classic Tele sound for country.
The action on this maple neck is really really nice and the neck is nice and straight. I believe the body is poplar.
All images are of the actual guitar. You will notice that the middle pickup is also a humbucker. This is a really nice guitar at an affordable price, easily worth twice the money for what you're actually getting. Frets have also been dressed. The neck just feels like a very comfortable fit in your hand.
Comes with a decent padded gig bag, a $30.00 value and tremolo arm is included.
I could work with you on the price a little bit but please don't send me unreasonable and ridiculous low ball offers.
I respond to my messages every couple of hours, so I'd appreciate you doing the same.
