This stunning art deco designed Model M was Epiphone's first deluxe electric steel guitar. Made in the mid to late 1930's, it features an ornately etched metal faceplate on a solid black painted wood body all designed, according to reference books, to simulate a New York skyscraper at night! Complete with the original pickup which still works AND the original case. Case handle is broken.

If you don't already know, the Epiphone Model M lap steel guitar is one of the most expensive vintage lap steel guitars for sale on the market but I'm offering it here for 40%-50% LESS than online market prices. If you don't believe me just go to eBay or Reverb and check for yourself where these Model M Epiphone lap steels are listed from $1000 to as much as $2500!
