Early production Krank Revolution 1 head from September 2005.
I purchased this amp from the original owner in Pheonix, AZ who stated it was obtained through a Krank endorsement relationship. Inside the chassis is the original burn-in tag signed by Patrick Flanagan, who helped launch Krank Amplification and built many of the company’s earliest amplifiers.
The amp has been professionally serviced and reliability upgraded while preserving the original circuit design.
Recent work includes:
• Complete electrolytic capacitor replacement using premium 10,000hr 105°C rated capacitors
• New Belton gold-plated tube sockets throughout
• Point-to-point wiring in critical areas
• New pots
Notable features:
• 100 watts
• Two Independent channels
• Dual master volume
• Series FX loop
• Line Out
• Factory choke
• Original owners manual & foot-switch
• Made in USA
This is an excellent example of an early Revolution 1 and a great opportunity for collectors, Krank enthusiasts, or players looking for one of the original high-gain American amplifiers of the 2000s.
