1950’s Gibson Console Grande Steel Guitar - $2,250 (Lakewood)

make / manufacturer: Gibson
model name / number: Console Grande Double Neck
This is an awesome Gibson console grande steel guitar from the early 1950s. I don’t know the exact date but that’s about the right time frame. It is the same model guitar that Dan Helms played on Hank Williams and Patsy Cline and all those great songs. I got it from a pawnshop in Tulsa Oklahoma I could not find out who owns it, but you can tell from the wear on the case that somebody used it lovingly for a long time. I suspect some famous western swing guy from that era area played it. it is in ready to go play a gig condition with all ordinal electronics. I replaced two pieces of vaneer but you can’t tell it. It’s heavy but I will ship insured free.
