DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a reliable and responsible individual with general maintenance and basic handyman experience to help with seasonal property maintenance work in South Jacksonville.
Work includes tenant punch-list items and general rental property maintenance, such as door locks, door hardware, curtain installation, ceiling fans, light fixtures, TV mounting, minor drywall repairs, paint touch-ups, caulking, AC filter replacement, minor plumbing maintenance, pressure washing, lawn care, and irrigation maintenance.
All work will be limited to tasks that do not require a professional license.
SCHEDULE:
This is a flexible, seasonal position. It is not full-time. Work is expected to be approximately 1–2 days per week, depending on property needs. Work may be completed on weekdays and/or weekends. You will mostly work independently and can coordinate your own schedule.
TOOLS:
Must have your own basic tools. We provide pressure washing and lawn equipment for specialty jobs when needed.
TRANSPORTATION:
Must have reliable transportation. You will need to travel to job sites with your tools and may occasionally need to pick up materials.
PAY:
Pay is $18–$25 per hour, depending on experience and the type of work performed. Typical daily pay is approximately $150–$200 per day, depending on the scope of work completed. This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
TYPE OF WORK INCLUDES:
- Cleaning homes after tenants move out
- Preparing homes before new tenants move in
- General property cleanup, organizing, and moving materials
- Basic handyman tasks that do not require a license
- Touch-up painting
- Caulking and minor drywall repairs
- Replacing AC filters
- Pressure washing
- Cleaning equipment and washing vehicles
- Lawn care and irrigation system maintenance
REQUIREMENTS:
- Reliable and responsible

- Able to follow instructions
- Able to communicate in basic Spanish and English
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have basic tools
- No smoking, vaping, or cell phone use while working
