Job Title: Property Maintenance Technician
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman / Property Maintenance Technician to help maintain and repair multiple office locations throughout the Jacksonville area. This is a hands-on position for someone with solid repair skills who takes pride in keeping properties and offices in good condition.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Handle general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC support
• Install and repair fixtures, appliances, and office furniture as needed
• Troubleshoot and fix problems with heating, cooling, water, and electrical systems
• Complete minor building and furniture repairs
• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests and emergency issues
• Coordinate with outside vendors and subcontractors for larger projects when necessary
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Track maintenance work completed and materials used
Requirements and Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED (vocational or trade school preferred)
• Hands-on experience in general maintenance, handyman, or building repair work
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (travel between offices required)
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Physically able to bend, crouch, lift, and carry items during the workday
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
