Set of 2 spring compressor clamps. For changing out the struts/shocks of a car or truck yourself, saves you $200+ with just the first use. Disclaimer- try at your own risk. So I've always put these in place over the springs first (no need to overly tighten them), break loose (not unscrew) the main bolts at the top and bottom of the strut, then jack up the car. Use caution to make sure the clamps are seated well in place then completely remove the assembly. Replace the piston shock and reinstall the assembly hand tight. Slowly and partly lower the car and make sure everything stays aligned and hand tight. Lower the car the rest of the way and tighten the bolts. Now remove the clamps and all should be good.
