I picked these up many years ago and it ended up that didn't have the right type of VCR to play them. I had numerous VCR's but I didn't realize that VCR tapes had regional format restrictions just like DVD's do.
The region locking on a VCR is pretty much based off of the television standard that is set in the respected country. The USA, Canada, and Japan run on NTSC; most of Europe and Australia run on PAL; etc. In order to play them you'll need a special region-free VCR but they're a little hard to find and expensive.
I've been reading up and heard a PAL to NTSC bi-directional converter box attached to a regular VCR would do the trick. They're pretty cheap on places like eBay. Here's on for under 15.00. https://www.ebay.com/itm/265360451907
Anyway, I'd just to see them go to a fellow Red Dwarf fan so I'll take only 10.00 for all 14 tapes. It looks like it's nearly all the first generation series with two tapes each for Red Dwarf I, II, III, IV, V and VII. It also has the special edition episodes "Smeg Ups" and "Smeg Outs" instead of a season 7.
