This is a vintage advertising sign that was salvaged from Old Abilene Town, a tourist park in Texas with an old West theme that closed down in the 1970s. It was mounted above vending machines that sold souvenir photo cards of famous Hollywood cowboys for 5 cents. The upper part of the sign drew attention to the vending machines; the lower section contains 3 sample actual vintage photos that were in the vending machines. Sturdy wood frame is approx 27 x 29 inches.
Great display item for the collector of antique advertising, cowboy, Western and Hollywood star memorabilia.
