I have two really cool matching hitching posts from the 1800s.
Made it heavy cast-iron.
The base fits squarely and perfectly at the top of a 4 x 4 post.
These are real and authentic. Originally used to tie your horse to the post while you go into a place of business or go into the saloon to have a drink!
These are really cool antiques.
They are 14 1/2 inches tall.
And I feel like they weigh about 12 pounds each.
