ENORMOUS & RARE FRENCH HAND BLOWN GLASS LADY JANE “DEMIJOHN” FERMENTATION BOTTLES CONVERTED INTO LAMPS!!
GLASS & LAMPSHADE ARE SO BIG THAT IT CAN BE A FLOOR LAMP!!
I have two incredible home decor statement pieces!
Two lamps. Electrical works.
Basically, they are too incredibly enormous glass containers with lamps mounted to the top
But these aren’t just any glass containers. These are antique French hand blown “Demijohn” containers/bottles.
Demijohn just means Lady Jane in French.
These were used for storing either water or wine. The darker older ones were used for the fermentation process of wine making.
The lighter colored one is from the 1940s. That’s the one with the lampshade that fits on top. It is ever so slightly bigger than the other one.
And the darker one that you see is really old. Appraised and dated to be from the 1800s. You can definitely tell the difference in the glass and the bubbles in it. This one was most likely used for the fermentation process of wine because it’s darker and it tints out the sunlight.
With the lampshade on
45 inches tall
Lampshade is 21 inches wide
From the bottom of the floor to the top of the glass lid on both of them:
27 inches tall
Not exactly sure how wide, but one of them is slightly wider than the other by like maybe an inch or two
Asking $300 for the one with the lampshade on top.
It’s definitely big enough to be used as a floor lamp
The other one I’m actually asking also $400 for because it is ever so slightly smaller and it does not have a lampshade. But it is a true antique from the 1800s.
I can do $500 if you purchase the pair of them.
That’s actually a great deal compared to the other prices you see dealers asking for these online.
I can deliver to anywhere in Jacksonville for a $50 delivery fee.
I can deliver outside of Jacksonville. I charge $60 an hour for my time on the road
Orlando is a five hour round-trip for me. So I would charge $300 to deliver to Orlando.
