Pauline Collings is a well-known north Florida artist who lives and works in Jacksonville. This painting is a striking example of her work. Professionally double-matted and framed. 17 3/4" x 22". In very good vintage condition. Cash only. Local pick-up is at the Dollar General parking lot, just off I-95, GA exit 7.
The following is a personal statement by the artist:
"I am a native of Boston. Having long been interested in art, I am active in local art groups and show my work at various galleries in northeast Florida. I am also a member of the International VSArts a group started by Jean Kennedy Smith in Washington D.C. through a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. I especially enjoy teaching and sharing the art experience with other physically challenged adults and children."
This piece is from our large art collection, assembled over a more than 50-year time span. The collection consists of original paintings lithographs, photographs, drawings, etchings, and other types of prints, as well as some mixed media pieces, all of which we'll eventually be listing on Craigslist Marketplace. As our main concern is finding new, appreciative homes for the pieces, we're pricing them to sell, at prices well below fair market value.
