· Knowledge of disk storage RAID levels and functionality

Job Responsibilities The ideal candidate must be able to perform normal inspections, checks, troubleshooting, training, and assessments in support of the following Sonar Systems and Equipments in conjunction with INSURVS, C5RA, CASREP, Integrated Class Maintenance Plan and routine maintenance requests.
They must also be able to perform trouble-shooting and evaluation/analysis and minor repairs for various ships located in the SERMC Mayport AOR. He/She must be able to conduct cold checks of equipment condition and parameters for out of specification settings. Appropriate measuring equipment shall be used to obtain data for evaluation. The candidate must be able to evaluate the findings of the cold checks and operational checks and make adjustments and repairs to the maximum extent possible during the time available. Candidates should be knowledgeable of the Navy NEMAIS System.

Requires AS/AA degree and or the equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
Experience
Requires 5-8 years hands-on experience troubleshooting and repair of the following equipment:
AN/SQR-19. AN/SQQ-28, AN/SQQ-89 (V) Series OBT, AN/SLQ-25A, AN/UQN-4A, OK-410 Hydraulic Winch, AN/UYQ- 25A/B, AN/WQC-2A, ARR-75/SKR-4 and associated peripheral equipment.
A minimum of two (2) years experience conducting (not participating) INSURV, C5RA's, Material Condition assessments and Sonar Dome Dives on board naval ships.

A current passport is required as overseas travel may be necessary.
