These positions range in levels of experience from 3-15 years of experience.    These positions will perform in depth forensic underwriting review of closed mortgage loan files for compliance with applicable State and federal laws and adherence to specific lender guidelines with an emphasis on buy-back/put-back possibilities. This review includes identifying potential fraud and/or misrepresentation on the part of all interested parties to the transaction. Provide Quality Control Reviews for assigned associates.<br>

Essential Job Functions <br>
•	Review and provide quality control feedback on loan files completed by assigned associates <br>
•	Manage production and quality of assigned associates <br>
•	Manage daily work flow of assigned associates to achieve goals <br>
•	Coach, develop and train new staff <br>
•	Assist in the performance improvement plan for assigned associates <br>
•	Review employment documentation and re-calculate income documentation for completeness and accuracy per guideline requirements. <br>
•	Review and recalculate asset documentation per guideline requirements. <br>
•	Review title commitments and policies. <br>
•	Appraisal review for guideline and USPAP compliance. <br>
•	Verify proper licensing of parties to loans being reviewed. <br>
•	Review and analyze borrower’s mortgage applications, credit reports and related documents. <br>
•	Review and analyze real estate purchase contracts. <br>
•	Review state and federal disclosures for compliance. <br>
•	Analyze individual loan files and determine compliance with applicable lender guidelines. <br>

Requirements <br>
•	Positions range from 3-15 years of underwriting experience with exposure to both manual and automated underwriting environments. <br>

• Knowledge of all Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac underwriting and selling guidelines 
<br>
• Ability to review document required in a timely fashion with a low error rate 
<br>
• Good understanding of operational processes that contribute to loan production. 
<br>
• Strong ability to assess the risk that will fall on the company if the loan conditions required are not met 
<br>
• Ability to review items that are a variation of the actual condition required to determine if the acceptance of this condition will be acceptable to the investor. 
<br>
• Must have a working knowledge of all acceptable compensating factors and be able to ensure impartial decision is granted. 
<br>
• Complete working knowledge of both automated and traditional underwriting systems and the reps and warrant that attaches to these products. 
<br>
• Ability to handle a large volume and still work within a lead role.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written 
<br>
• Must be extremely organized

•	Must be able to lift up to sixty (60) pounds without assistance and up to two hundred (200) pounds with the assistance of an appliance truck.  Must be able to climb ladders, including heights up to the roof areas, and perform normal physical functions of stooping, bending, and walking as required by the duties of the position.

•	Must be willing to handle emergency calls while being on-call.  Rotating weeks for on-call service.
<br>

•	Must be willing to accept other assignments relating to property maintenance upon direction of Resident Manager.
