The Bible and other rewritten and translated scriptures are alot like Fishing tales passed down from generation or friend to friend. They are told with 60 percent being correct and the rest is creativity. Where is the factual proof Someone ever split the red sea? Or turned water into wine?? The players maybe real, Jesus was a real person no one will go against that. Just like Moses and others. But when stories get passed down over generations the stories gain imagination as people tell the stories. Its sorta like the game telephone. The phrase starts out with one thing and ends with something almost completely different. The Bible out of all holly books is the worst when it comes to that. When you translate stories from one language to another the story loses its true meaning and emotional structure. I know that even our history has been altered as it has been passed down. The Bible is a pretty neat fictional book. I have studied religion for the better part of 4 years now while going to school. I have read the english versions of the Qur'an, the Torah, and the Bible. They all have truth within them. To a certain extent. When it comes down to it they all have very similar messages, but for some reason each thinks they are right and the others are wrong. It would be a real shame if god creates all these religions and people fight over which one is "the one". People are going to see what they want to see and that is that. Everyone on here has used selective reasoning in order to prove they are right. And with selective reasoning i could prove that FDR was the greatest president ever. But it wouldnt mean i was correct, it would just mean that i used selective talking points to prove my argument. The truth is no one has absolute proof to prove or disprove any religion. In the end religion relies on faith and faith is not absolute.
