First off most of the Muslim world are very peaceful and live by gods word. The ones that don't(sum even in high political seats) go against gods will and twists verses and other part of the religion to justify his or her actions. In reality religion has caused more wars than any other issue in the past 2000 years. The Christians, Jews, and Muslims fought for 100's of years over religion. All for what??? nothing, in the end no one was a winner. The idea of God was created by man as a quick answer to, Where did we come from?. People didnt want to accept the correct answer which is nobody knows. People started saying they saw god and everybody became in awe of this person or persons. Come on people are willing to believe that, and call 9/11 conspiracy theorist crazy?? Wow.... God is just a name for the unknown. It fills that void that you have in your life. There are higher powers in this world and in our universe, but to think that Jesus or any other prophet saw this image of god and god told them stories and what not, that just sounds kind of crazy. I mean i can sit here all day and predict there is going to be a great flood in the coming centuries, or predict massive storms never seen by the eyes of man before. Hell those things are bound to happen. The point of all this is that man evolved from something. What?? I don't know yet, nothing has been proven correct yet. But I live my life the I see fit and being kind to people and helping others in need is human nature to me, not taught to me as the words of god. I know there is something greater than me in this world, I know that much, but what it is i don't know for sure. I refer to the powers that be as god but not in the sense all these religious people view god. I wish future generations have these same debates and one day figure out what is truth and what is imagination. And writting this post makes me realize why they are keeping god out of public schools. If someone came to school with this theory and presented it well there is no way that he or she could lose the debate. because debates boild down to facts, and there very little factual proof that "God" as described by religion exists.but there is proof of evolution, not within the human species, but within every other animal. Which leaves a high probability of humans evolving from something. I find it funny when people put soo much faith in god creating them, then turn around and call someone crazy for thinking that a chemical reaction in just the right state created the universe and everything that has evolved in it. Neither side can prove their point definitively and yet both sides call each other crazy... Religion will continue to plague mankind as it has for centuries now. Just think about how much science could have been discorvered by scientist if it were for the church crucifying and imprisoning them for their work. The Jews and Muslims both also slowed down mans progress in the name of keeping your books believable. This world is only a few big discoveries away from closing the door on religion as we know it today. Its only a matter of time.
