Thats just it no religion should be in charge!!!! And super religious wonder why the rest of the world look at them weird. I tell you what, get every American to believe in Christianity willfully and God will be back in public schools. But there is a good reason why people are shying away from religion. Religion has pend human beings who are made up of the same exact elements against one another because of their beliefs and thoughts since the beginning of time. And you want public schools to spread those messages? We can spread the word of being kind to one another, other great human values without putting religion in public schools. Like others have said, If you want god in your childrens schools then send them to a catholic school or another Christian schools. The rest of us would like our children to make their own decisions on religion. If Jesus wants them as a follower then he will help guide that decision. I took many world religions classes throughout college. After those classes i just kind of realized all 3 major religions have the same basic principles. So chances are if you follow all three basic principles you will be ok. I believe in god but I would never in a million years force my beliefs and choice of religion on an entire nation of people. Period, that is just wrong. That goes against the founding of this nation. If you want to live in a Christian nation then i suggest Mexico. They as a nation love some jesus down there and they are doing well. Freedom of Speech, Press, and Religion. First Amendment. So if America is anything it is a Freedom of Religion Nation.
