I bought a female red chiweenie pup about three months ago from a certified petstore. I just recently found out i am pregnant so i will need to move to a different apartment. the new apartment does not allow pets so i am forced to give her up. she is absolutely adorable. a perfect companion for any age or type of person. she is a very loving lap dog. about three pounds i believe with short reddish hair. she is crate and potty trained. i bought her for $850, and also spent about 500 dollars on all of her things, which come with her. she is purebread and comes with papers showing that she has all her shots and how much i paid for her. included with her adoption is Crate, blanket for crate, leash and collar, toys, food and water bowls with mat, a large just opened bag of food, carrying purse and dress to match. everything she needs to rehome. she gets along very well with other animals. cats; other dogs of all sizes; etc. she is great with kids, my litte brothers have had a blast with her. i really hate to let her go as she is a perfect little baby. she has gotten lots of love and attention from me, my family and friends. but i just cannot take her with me when i move. if you are interesting in learning more about her and meeting her, i would love to meet you halfway and introduce this precious dog. my name is kelly and my number is 904-813-3651, no text messages please. call anytime before 12 pm. oh and her name is cupcake :)

The ASCA (Australian Shepherd Club of America), established in 1957, is the parent club of this breed and the largest single breed registry in the United States. Here's their statement about Miniature and Toy Australian Shepherds:

"The Miniature Australian Shepherd, North American Shepherd, North American Miniature Australian Shepherd, and/or Toy Australian Shepherd breeds are not recognized as a variety of Australian Shepherd by ASCA. The club considers such dogs to be a distinct and separate breed and will not accept them into its registry.

"Our bylaws state that ASCA's purpose is: 'To encourage members and breeders to accept one breed standard for the Australian Shepherd as approved by the Club as the only standard of excellence by which Australian Shepherds shall be judged.' It is the mission of this club and the mission of its members to preserve the breed rather than change it.

This breed is to be preserved, not changed or altered. The Aussie was never intended to be selected for size, it was developed to be a functional working dog capable of handling tough stock and going for miles in the back country or snow drifts. DRA - I didn't find a date, but this registry welcomes breeds under classes such as "Poo breeds, (poodle mixes)", and "Designer Dogs." ???
They also do not require any proof or documentation of the registered dog's breed. A fictitious registry, at best.

***These registries have all been founded within the last 20 years, they do not have the health, temperament, or standard in mind nor are they working to preserve the true Australian Shepherd. An Australian Shepherd is a herding dog, not meant to be the size of your hand so you can fit him into your purse. These are dogs of purpose, and while I'm sure the 'toy aussie' in the post is cute and a great dog, but by buying this dog from this uneducated, backyard breeder you are supporting ill-bred mutts and a careless breeder who does not care about the betterment of an Australian Shepherd. It's original purpose is to tend livestock and work on a farm, they're intelligent, beautiful dogs who should only be altered to IMPROVE their performance, not to dwindle them down in size to turn them into apartment dogs, that's absurd. Quality is not to be sacrificed for size!

The lady insists her dogs are TOY AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERDS, but she herself even says they're registered as "australian shepherd", because there isn't supposed to be such a strong variation in size. Her use of the breed name "North American Shepherd" just means she's trying to play both sides of the fence, breeders of 'minis' and toys' came up with this breed name to take the heat off of them for going against breed standard, so they came up with their own breed name. Clever maybe? No, that is stupid.

Like I told the original poster, it's obvious she is not looking out for the betterment of the breed or for the well being of her dogs. When you claim to be a reputable breeder, trying to get rid of a dog on craigslist is slimy. If she had the proper reputation of a solid breeder she could rehome her dog through a breeding network, not craigslist where people dump off their unwanted animals. She clearly stated that this dog is a "blue eyed RARE producer", anyone with common sense knows this will light up a careless breeder's eyes with dollar signs. But she doesn't care, it makes her money. A "rare" producing dog shouldn't be the motivating factors in getting a dog. Personality, health, temperament, and pedigree, if applicable, should be.

We have a 7 month old half great dane, half lab dog. She is about as big as we think she'll get, weighing in at about 75lbs. Even though she is full grown, she is still in her puppy phase and has all the playfulness of a puppy. Unfortunately, we live in a small house and our yard isn't fenced in, so she is too much dog for us. She is very sweat and pretty much scared of everything until she gets used to it. We had an indoor cat that she got along fine with, but it has been a few months since she was inside with a cat.

She is fully up on her shots and advantage, she is fixed, and she is potty trained and crate trained. She is all black with a few white hairs on her chest and she has a perfect coat.

omg some people are really sick like this person trying to sell a all white lion head female bunny i wrote this lady a few days ago and let her know my daughter was interrested and that she would be willing to trade some thing for her bunny which was a ds and a game first she said she is a older female in her 40's and did not know what a ds was and what else she had then she wrote back a few minutes later saying she would do it after all but after talking to my daughters father and with her we felt like a ds and a game was a little to much for a bunny that comes with nothing and that there were other bunnys on here for cheaper and some that really needed a new home unlike this breeder ..but she keeped on writing my daughter back with ??????? and thats all that was in the email mind you this is my daughters email she was writting to. What is a DS? I am in my 40's and have no little kids, so I don't know what it is. lol
What else does she have to trade? This bunny is litter trained so she could just put her litter box in her room and she can run around. This bunny is super sweet and is fantastic at going in the litter box. Its so cool. This is the first rabbit I ever had that's litter trained. She is also friendly and you can hold her all day long.
