I stopped to see if he had tags and he jumped through my car window lol. Very sweet, I desperatly want him to find his family. Thought I'd send this along, maybe it will help a pet owner.

There's an older black lab wandering in Old Ortega, near Cortez Park and Carter's Pharmacy - St.Mark's... He is not fixed, has a touch of grey on muzzle and paws. We gave him some leftover food. He wouldn't take the dry dog food, might not be able to chew it properly. He did eat enough roast beef and cheese to keep him going for another day or two
He was not unfriendly, but seemed preoccupied with finding his way home. He has a nylon black collar with no tags. Somewhat disoriented. He stayed around for 10 minutes after the food ran out. Seemed sweet and I was able to pet him, but he moved along. He mostly stays on the roads, and seemed to like the park. He went down Cherokee to Verona, up Verona to Arapahoe, then turned back and went back to the park and Village Dance Center. Last headed towards Carter's Pharmacy about 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday 11-10.

Jackson has been found!! He was found very underweight and dirty but otherwise, fine, no battlescars. I don't think he was ever very far. I think he was under my neighbors house most of the time. It breaks my heart to know he was so close,,,and scared and hungry but I am Very happy he was found alive and not found due to a stinchy smell in their home. Any of you out there who have a missing cat that is a skiddish housecat, I strongly recommend you ask neighbors, (if they will alow it) if you can look under their house or mobile home. I called Jack several times in our back yard right by the fence thinking it may be in our neighbors yard and I have no idea why he wouldn't show his pretty face but he never did and he was probably there most of the time. Thanks to all of you who sent me emails showing your concern and compassion and thanks to any of you in the neighborhood who looked for him. I am so happy to have my Jack back. Good luck to those of you in search of your missing pet, my heart goes out to you, it is a terrible feeling. Jack was gone for 4 weeks. He disappeared on 10/5 on a Monday and showed back up on 11/2 on a Monday. I don't know how he survived for so long but Thank God he did.

Oh and if any of your friends tried helping you or were with you that day, we will go after them as well, so friend, you might want to just turn yourself in.... Well, today is your lucky day! All the evidence we need to file a police report against you and whoever helped you!! FRAUD, look this word up, it carries a heavy penality and it will be on your record the rest of your life!! Hard lesson to learn, hugh smart one?? If you had any common sense, turn yourself in, because it's just a matter of time, we will find you and you will be arrested. Apparently your mommy didn't teach you right from wrong. You don't take something that does not belong to you, you didn't work for that money in the account, you should have done the right thing and turned the card in, maybe you would have received a reward, instead you'll receive jail time! For everyone that helped look for our cat, I would like to give y'all a big THANK YOU! This morning my mother looked out her bathroom window and saw our cat in the neighbors yard, trying to get back into our yard and she darted outside and got him. She has been looking desperately for the past month for our cat and we have had several phone calls and emails from people saying that they either thought they saw our cat or they just wanted to wish us luck and pray for us to find him. Well, he is back home now. He feels like a feather, poor thing hasn't eaten hardly anything in the past month, surprised he is still alive. Once again I just wanted to thank everyone who helped us look for him and kept us in your prayers. This just proves there is always hope, and you should NEVER give up on anything, and ALWAYS appreciate the things you have in life because you never know when they will disappear. For everyone missing an animal just pray and keep faith, God will give you what you deserve!

Found tonight an older Dachshund or Dachshund Mix near the intersection of Edgewood Ave and Post St.

This boy, clearly, is lost and very confused -not a street dog or stray. Has a collar but no tags - will try taking him to a vet tomorrow to see if he is microchipped.

If he is your please send email to the link above and describe him and the collar he is wearing. I have pets of my own and will not be able to hold on to him long term but due to his age animal control would be a death sentence after the 7 day hold - so please send me a message if you think this may be your dog or you think you may know who owns this dog.
