You will have client interaction on a regular basis, including marketing of services when not directly working on a job. You may also be called upon to provide expert testimony in a court of law.
Requirements:
Candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, PE is required, and at least 5+ years experience as a design/structural engineer (residential, industrial and commercial buildings). Experience working with law firms and insurance companies is a plus. Experience with commercial, institutional, healthcare, high-rise and governmental facilities is desired. Must be able to communicate with all levels of personnel and clients both verbally and written. Travel may be extensive depending on the clients needs.

Produce and coordinate the design of mechanical building systems(HVAC/Plumbing & Fire Protection) utilizing ABS AutoCAD technology.
Conduct site visits, review shop drawings and submittals and answer contractor’s RFI’s
Prepare calculations for mechanical equipment sizing and selection.

We are seeking a qualified individual to support in-house in St. Augustine, FL. The candidate will be ensuring that the IETMs (Interactive Electronic Technical Manual) is working as specified and the data is of quality (be able to issue stamp of quality). Candidate must also have the ability to work with different groups (i.e. users and IT department). S1000D is the specification utilized on this software.
If you have your own tools, that is a plus.
Equipment needed and used are some or all of the following: Diagnostics computers, oscilloscope, various I/O devices, digital line analyzers, software diagnostics programs, and various hand tools.
This is a niche, very specialized field. We operat in a fast paced environment and need an experienced person as training will be minimal and only related to inter-office process flow.
You should be comfortable in auto electronics and have the ability to communicate with customers. Minor troubleshooting with customers over the telephone may be necessary, but not often.

Cost Engineer Position:
- Determine appropriate cost engineering guidance and work product.
- Confirm appropriate design and construction methods and incorporate into cost estimates.\
- Develop planning level (Budgetary) cost estimates, screening estimates and recommended plan estimate along with cost engineering appendices.
- Perform cost risk analysis and prepare total project cost summaries.
- Develop preliminary, intermediate and final estimated and specifications during the project.
